Connecting email

How to connect email for branded transactional and marketing emails.

Connecting email is easy.

Make sure you have access to your domain provider’s DNS settings. Example: GoDaddy -> Domain -> DNS -> DNS Settings

  1. Go to Admin -> Communications
  2. Find Sender Identity
  3. Add your email to the desired Sender Slot
  4. Wait for CNAME RETURN-PATH NAME and RETURN-PATH VALUE
  5. Wait for TXT DKIM NAME and DKIM VALUE
  6. Wait for TXT DMARC NAME and DMARC VALUE
  7. Go to your domain provider’s DNS settings
  8. Add a new DNS record
  9. Select TXT as the record type
  10. Paste the DKIM NAME and DKIM VALUE
  11. Save the DKIM record
  12. Add another DNS record
  13. Select CNAME as the record type
  14. Paste the RETURN-PATH NAME and RETURN-PATH VALUE
  15. Save the RETURN-PATH record
  16. Add another DNS record
  17. Select TXT as the record type
  18. Paste the DMARC NAME and DMARC VALUE
  19. Save the DMARC record
  20. Return to Sender Identity
  21. Click Verify
  22. Done
